Talking To Your Parents
Schedule a time with your parents. Ask them politely if you could sit down with them at a time that is convenient for everyone. Make sure it's a time when you won't be rushed. Maybe Friday night after dinner or Sunday after lunch.
When the time comes, thank your parents for taking time to sit down and talk to you. It might help to script out what you want to say to them beforehand. You could even practice with a friend.
Print this checklist so you can tell your parents everything you learned during the process! You don't want to forget anything.

Have all of your information neatly arranged and in order. Have a copy for each person and bring a pen or pencil for each person. That way everyone can make notes. If you have a laptop or other device, bring it with you so you can make adjustments to your spreadsheet and redo your Auto Calculator as you work with your parents.
Finally, keep your cool! If your parents tell you no, don't get mad. If you can, tell them you don't need an answer right away. Ask them to look over the information on their own
and schedule a time to talk again.
